-I personally have been studying drums for over 16 years. Teachers include Bob Minton, Eric McPherson (Jackie McLean), JP Bouvet (Steve Vai), Shannon Ford (Paul Simon, various Broadway shows), and Richie Morales (The Brecker Brothers)

I would be thrilled to help any student prepare for the incredibly rewarding NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) solo festival!

Growing up in the NY state public school system, I have an intimate knowledge of the NYSSMA festival. By junior year of high school I received perfect scores for All-State (level 6) solos on both snare drum and drum set. Since then I have helped numerous students perform their solos with confidence, landing them in the highest scoring bracket and even with perfect scores!
